Oh my God, I want Kate Beaton's babies so.much.

I've decided my cure for writer's block is sleeping a lot and holing myself up in the bathtub with lots and lots of Neil Gaiman.

Well... it's not so much a cure as it is a distraction.

I've also decided that there are fewer things I like writing less than opening chapters. Well, I'm sure there are all kinds of things I'd like writing less... essays on Puritan literature for example, but still... this is very tricky.

First off, I just have to put it out there: I have been having some seriously fucking weird dreams lately. The kind that last the whole night, but you can only half remember in the morning. That is all.

Anyway, indie slash mix! More mushy mostly indie mushiness! This came about because I had a few new songs for each couple and didn't want to make whle new mixes for each couple again. So, it has a couple songs that have already been used, mostly new songs, and a couple of songs that will be on other mixes. I already posted the Mel'n'Adge one and said I'd do the slash one, so here it is:

I've been editing playlists again (as I slip further and further into the fevered boredom that has become life) and decided to post some of them. I did teh ghey sunshine that is Ru and Nik's love first...as they are still by far the least dramatic and cheer me up ^__^

It has a lot of album art for anybody with dial-up. It's not a paralyzing amount, but I just figured I'd mention it.

Rufus and Nik in all the album art are being portrayed by Rufus Wainwright and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (hey, isn't that convenient?...long story...). When it's not Wainwright and Coster-Waldau, it's Hugh Grant and James Wilby in the movie Maurice (yes, tis Grant's ass on the tracklisting, lol). The other images are stock photography from Gettyimages.

I'll do another one later. Though, I don't think I'm going to do a manip for each song for the rest of them. It's a pain. Maybe I'll do it for Geoff & Alan's. Maybe.

I was tempted to wait to post this closer to your birfday, Jess, but...the glee.

Nik looks weird, but I don't mind so much as Rufus looks very much like his self.

Whenever I get writer's block, I remember these two...and the words canon slash pass through my head... and I try again.

I'm also thinking of making one of these for all the canon couples.

It's just a thought, but I wonder if Harry Potter's son, James, has friends called Romulus, Paul, and...Ernest.

That's a horrible joke, I'm sorry. But, maybe the four boys could be called The Plunderers. There's an idea, J.K. *is still bothered by her ridiculous/sentimental choice of names for the third generation*

P.S. Another thought...what would it be more fun to be? A vampire or a werewolf? er...this has nothing to do with Facebook...yeah...

This is the most random fic ever. I'd intended it originally as a drabble, but it ended up being more than 1,300 words.

One of these days, I swear I'm actually going to write them having marvelous boysex and not just what happens before and afterwards.
