lol, we were talking about my mom and dad's wedding at dinner and my mom told me she had the priest take 'obey' out of the vows (something I had not known, but am pleased with as I plan to do the same thing).

I kind of hope it wins... if only so because it'll be a reminder that there's still room in this world for a little irreverance.

On another note... I got another 102% on an algebra test. Hee, I was confronted by Thumser and Herek. They totally teased me about it. Later, Thumser was curious as to why a former analysis student was back in algebra... which was hard to explain without badmouthing my last three math teachers, including poor Herek himself. I don't blame Herek too much anymore...I blame my Algebra II teacher who thought it more important to cry to us about how her husband didn't appreciate her and send us on errands to retrieve her Vicodin from her house than actually teach us math. Not pretty. Which is why I had to struggle just to get C's and B-'s in Analysis. Because I had no idea how to do some pretty basic preliminaries.

Deborah asked for a copy of my Shakespeare outline to use in the future. I have the feeling my grades this semester will be quite good.

However, I have three essays I have to do this weekend... which I am not looking forward to.

Strange. Last night (er...rather, between the hours of 11am-4pm), I dreamt that it was the zombie apocolypse. Somehow only Holly and I survived and we escaped in a snow mobile with limited food and medical supplies. Then I woke up.

Anyway, I feel much better now that I've actually slept and have my dear computer back in my arms.

I was going to make it as an icon, but I need to find a gif software that doesn't hate pics in color (stupid, crappy thing).
I had to leave some of my ships out, so I stuck with only the ones that I've read fic for on a regular basis. So it's: Chaucer/Wat, Remus/Sirius, Wash/Zoe, James/Lily, Ros/Guil, Aubrey/Maturin, Noblet/Jellineck, Obi-wan/Qui-Gon, Miguel/Tulio (lol, cartoon slash, wtf?), and Orange/White (...a Tarantino film...honestly...but, well, .......come on...)

This reminded me that I have somewhat odd, but comparatively mild taste in ships. It also made me think just how boring fandom must be for people who hate slash.

After being reminded of the cultural wasteland that is Christian Spotlight (a place I used to go when I needed a good laugh) by the always fiendishly delightful sparklyjames, I decided that I too had to post some on the gems I've found on Spotlight's recaps of movies and TV.

You know, sometimes you just want to cry for people like these.

My bloody plug still hasn't come in the post yet. Since Chase's plug is also on the fritz, we can't risk unplugging it from his computer...because if his goes dead, we will be royally screwed... given the ebay buisness.

So, as of now, I am borrowing Chase's computer because he is at Josh's. I hate not having my own computer. I can't post artwork, I can't write on Word (because if you can't save it, what's the point?), I can't edit my movies, etc. Right now I'm just worried that my comp is broken enough that even the new plug won't work. I have everything backed up, except (I think) my Sticky notes...which have a ton of writing in them. Actually, a ton of my best writing. So that's great.
