It is a pretty big bummer. I didn't like him as a person, but there was a lot of his music that I really loved. Dave Chappelle can say it far more succintly than I can:

I'm trying quite hard to finish Chapter 1, but have find myself in one of those corners where you have a million places you could take a thing, but aren't satisfied with any of them so the best solution seems to be putting your fist through the computer screen. We dropped Chase off at the airport this morning (since Nikki's father ~magnanimously~ decided he could fly down to Florida to vacation with them). So we had to get up at 5 am. lol, fun. The new Detroit airport is ridiculous, btw. EVERYTHING is now inside the terminal. All the restaurants, all the bookshops... everything, and since only passengers are allowed past the security checkpoint, this kind of blows. I mean, I understand the no non-passengers beyond security rule, but... it'd be nice to actually see your loved ones off (or to make sure your dorkass brother actually gets on his plane). Airports used to be so cool. A moment of silence for airports.
lol @ Chase trying to be all adult and pretending he wasn't nervous. And mom managed not to cry. I'm ~so proud~ (of course, when asked is this meant I could fly somewhere alone, she said "No" without even blinking).
